Quality Technician - 2nd Shift

Nappanee, IN - Full Time

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform material and product tests using quality lab test equipment and formal testing methods. 
  • Perform in-process audits and internal audits to verify stand operating procedures are being followed. 
  • Maintain Quality records and samples per written procedures. 
  • Work with measurements, micrometers, and other specific lab tests to ensure product quality. 
  • Prepare records, reports and enter data to provide documentation and to support Quality department. 
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Support and participate in the organization's Continual Improvement Program to conform to API Q1/ISO 9001:2015 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives. 

Education and Training

  • High school diploma or GED, 3-6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Experience

  • One to three years of experience preferred. 
  • Experience working in an API Q1/ISO 9001:2015 environment a plus. 

This is a 2nd shift position.
