Position Summary
Handle and store materials at various manufacturing stages following work order specifications and maintain inventory.
Responsibilities
Operate forklift Combi-Lift, and side loader to move materials (barrels up to 40 ft in length); loading and unload shipments, storing and picking materials for various stages of production, and stocking finished products.
Perform daily safety checks of forklifts and side loaders, and log checks daily.
Communicate with Supervisor and Inspectors to ensure timely transfer of material to various workstations
Store materials in an orderly manner to prevent damage and facilitate the ability to count stock
Maintain production flow board on material movement
Conduct annual inventory counts of all hone shop warehouse materials and finished parts.
Check in shipments of raw materials and parts, and verify counts against packing lists for receipts against the purchase orders.
Assist with manual movement of material not to exceed 55 pounds in weight
Observe and practice all Safety guidelines and rules of the shop

Requirements
Education and Training: High School education or equivalent or as deemed sufficient by management
Technical Requirements: Forklift & side loader certification; computer literate, basic math skills; good communication skills; ability to identify material type, size, and length; good organizational skills; ability to budget time for multiple tasks; ability to physically handle manual loading & unloading of materials. Have a working knowledge of Hone shop operations work instructions.
Experience: At least 5 years experience, or as deemed sufficient by management
