Sales Representative - Downhole Pump

SCOPE and PURPOSE:
This job description applies to all activities and guidelines for operations performed by a Sales Representative for our Downhole Pump team. This role reports to the Sales Manager and is located in Midland, Texas.
JOB SUMMARY:
Establish relationships with existing and potential customers in order to raise DON-NAN LUFKIN industry profile with operators’ management locations within the Permian Basin.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish and nurture relationships with assigned customers.
Make cold calls on potential target customers.
Communicate ongoing awareness of evolving market conditions and competitors plans.
Create awareness of DON-NAN LUFKIN capabilities, and match such capabilities with customer needs.
Attend industry, technical, and social functions.
Attend well review meetings with customers to provide technical recommendations.
Stay abreast of industry trends and practices, and customer plans.
Communicate above information to management on a timely basis.
ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS
Regardless of other duties, the Sales Representative has a responsibility to follow DON-NAN LUFKIN production, safety, and quality procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education and Training: High School education or equivalent or as deemed sufficient by management.
- Technical Requirements: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience: At least 5 years’ industry experience, or as deemed sufficient by management.
