Production Control Specialist

Construction, Industrial, and Manufacturing - Claremore, OK - Full Time

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for work order planning according to delivery schedule. Manage materials and external operations requisition. Validate work order closing for labor and material consumption accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Issue work orders in ERP according to demand from the customer
  • Coordinate work order activities between departments from start to finish
  • Operate material movements between warehouses.
  • Operate scrap in ERP according to production reports and QN decisions in QN system.
  • Check work order for completion after closing – labor and material - and report variances.
  • Support production – release production package to the shop.
  • Operate Physical Inventory tasks in ERP.
  • Support continuous improvement activities: KAIZEN, Six Sigma, 6S.
  • Follows HSE requirements and help implementing them in standard manufacturing processes
  • Follows QMS requirements
  • Follows Company’s Compliance requirements.
  • Maintains and improves the quality management system.
  • Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:

Regardless of other duties, the Production Control Specialist has a responsibility to follow LUFKIN production, safety, and quality procedures.


REQUIREMENTS:
    1. Education and Training: High school or as deemed sufficient by management
    2. Technical Requirements: ability to read and interpret routine instructions; Use of ERP system and other planning tools; basic computer skills; Good oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently; strong problem-solving skills.
    3. Experience: At least 2 years work experience in the area, or as deemed sufficient by management
