About the Opportunity:
Lufkin Industries provides oilfield pumping units, automation, and services to the oil & gas industry and is currently hiring a Downhole Sales Manager to instruct, motivate, and drive downhole product line selling teams to succeed in growing Lufkin’s presence in the Permian.
While well established in North America for many years, Lufkin believes in hiring the right leadership to further develop and strengthen the sales team which will deepen existing customer relationships and develop new customer relationships, thereby increasing market share.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a culture of sales excellence that produces high performers who are confident engaging with different levels of stakeholders and professionally representing the technical and economic value of doing business with Lufkin. Experience within a commercial discipline is highly valued, as is using objective metrics as the basis for decision making, sales planning, and performance management.
Lufkin strives to create a collaborative internal culture that is centered on customer success. This role will require collaboration with product line managers, services operational managers, and local sales staff.
